Ismael Palacín

Director of the Jaume Bofill Foundation (www.fbofill.cat), an independent think tank focused on the analysis, research and foresight of the new challenges of social and educational policies, with special emphasis on promoting innovation to overcome educational inequalities
He has created and directed different social and educational programs aimed at groups with social inclusion needs, in the fields of community work, school success, services to children and families, youth orientation and job placement, as well as the integration of families and young immigrants.
In his previous responsibilities, he has been involved in different spaces for the organization of social entities and policies: secretary of the Federation of Catalan Social Action Entities, vice president of the Board of the Third Social Sector, Observatory of the Third Sector, Needs Assessment Committee of Social Services of the Generalitat, vice-president of the Col·legi de Educadores / Social de Cataluña, Consell Advisor of the Human Rights Structure of Catalonia, Social Council of the Trustee of Grievances of Catalonia and Consell Advisor of Social and Family Policies of the Generalitat , Centro Unesco de Cataluña and Consell rector of Ivàlua among others.
