ESCUELA EL PUIG

 The EL PUIG School is a parents’ cooperative established in 1970 with the aim of offering a quality education. From its beginnings it has been defined as Catalan, plural and lay, detached from any political or religious organisation.

Our humanistic vision of the world leads us to relate learning with cultural values that help us to understand the world and ourselves.

The School today

The School of today has been constructed by moving forward from the ideas and the doings of its beginnings, incorporating the accumulated experience, the research in the field of education and the needs of the School of today. Children are always contemporary and the school, in order to accompany them in their process of life, should be at the current time, valuing the essential ideas that are often eternal, but at the same time with the new needs generated.

We consider the well-being of the child as a whole: physical, emotional, social, intellectual and cultural; based on a human accompaniment that respects the needs of each person.

Let’s look at the school as a unique and unrepeatable community of people who are lucky enough to learn together, sharing personal and common life processes, which are beyond what each would do individually.
