OP-*Innov@, a brave project of school

OP-Innova @, a new educational center project, was born at the Octavio Paz school in 2015-16 to fully improve its pedagogical and organizational environment. The transformation process is committed to the current needs of children, ensuring their personalized accompaniment; of families, involving them daily in the life of the school; and the context, opening the school to the near and distant surroundings with international programs.

The backbone of change is the updating of the pedagogical line, based on the current curricular framework and concretized in globalized and interdisciplinary strips of work; the redesign of learning spaces, so that they are more human and flexible; the change of view of the evaluation, understanding as a tool for improvement and progress; as well as the weekly training of quality of the team of teachers, key element to unlearn and learn again. At the same time, collaborative alliances with prestigious institutions and the work of digital and linguistic skills complement the new scenario.
